ADVENTURE REPORT
An adventurous and brave bunch stepped into the dark to enjoy the bliss that a dawn walk provides. The rain stopped for us and we watched the world wake from Castle Head. We celebrated the joy of walking and friendships with bubbles and breakfast. Seeing the world with an alternative lens gives a whole new perspective. A fantastic start to the day 🙏.

DETAILS
A sunrise easy walk.   We may see the cloud waterfalls if we’re lucky.  Steps, a big hill and then stunning views over the Jamison and Megalong Valleys. There may be morning mist that will clear as the sun comes up.  Approx 9.5km. Sunrise is at 05:42am.  I’m estimating that it will take an hour or thereabouts to get there. Beverages/breakfast in Katoomba afterwards. 

Parking at Narrow Neck Lookout is paid parking so park a little further down and walk to the Lookout.

Bring a thermos, snacks and first aid kit.  Bring your headlamp and dress in layers.
