ADVENTURE REPORT
Three Blue Mountains women ventured into Grand Canyon for a dusk walk.  Grand Canyon has striking canyon scenery and lush vegetation.  We walked deeply into the canyon, along ledges and into the darkening shadows.  The dusk scenery gave us a new perspective for our senses.  The sound of the roaring canyons was incredible, the shadows and dark corners were mysterious, the silvery light of the waterfalls was simply stunning and the sundown twittering from birds was very musical. We were hoping to see glow worms in the cave but sadly none were there this time.  We crossed creeks, rock hopped with ease, climbed up and down stairs where we all got a little breathless with the cold air and effort but, our recovery was so quick which was awesome.

We did work up an appetite so a few of us then drove into Blackheath for some delicious Thai.  It was school holidays and everywhere was so busy.  Fortunately the people at the Thai restaurant made space for us and we enjoyed a delicious meal.

A dusk Grand Canyon walk is amazing, and the wonderful friendships and delicious meal made it a perfect evening.  The group photo credit goes to Dominika.  Thanks for a great evening Carlene and Dominika.  You’re both awesome. Until next time.

Yours in adventure Rosie
