18km and approx. 5 hours. A medium challenging walk. Challenging because of the long stairway down into the Megalong Valley, then a wide, open fire trail through the valley. Very little shade, creek crossings and kangaroos. Return the same way up the long stairway. Slow and steady will get you to back up Nellies Glen.
