Lockley Pylon unveils breathtaking views that capture the very essence of the Blue Mountains’ grandeur. The walk to Lockley is an easy walk along a well-formed track, meandering through picturesque heathlands and gently ascends to a summit that feels like a gateway to nature’s masterpiece. From the peak, you’re greeted by sweeping vistas of majestic eucalypt forests, striking sandstone cliffs, and the towering silhouettes of Mount Hay and Mount Banks. Accessible via an unsealed gravel road in Leura. There is no need for a 4WD.  For an even more memorable experience, walkers are encouraged to pack a thermos of warm beverages and snacks to savor amidst this serene beauty. The return walk is approximately 7.6km – a rewarding walk that promises to leave your spirit uplifted and deeply connected to the wild wonders of the Blue Mountains.
