Perrys Lookdown legends.

A hard and tough walk in the heat and humidity. 5676 steep stairs. A lovely soak and swim in the cold river. We begged for rain and cool winds and were rewarded with a downpour and thunderstorm. Tiring but good fun. A truly great day out with NBREA friends.

DETAILS
It’s very special. Steep stairs, rocky footing, about 2700 stairs.  Lush green grass and tall trees by the babbling river. Swim or soak your feet in the icy river.  On the way back we’ll stop by the Windswept Cave and Anvil Rock.  About 6 hours all up.  About 15-18km.

Park and meet at the Perrys Lookdown car park.

Bring your lunch, water, snacks, first aid kit and small towel to dry your feet/body off. There are two toilets on the flats.
