ADVENTURE REPORT
Carmel, Nick and Rosie met in Faulconbridge this afternoon and walked along a fire trail out to the point.  The air was heavy with humidity, storm clouds were on the horizon and the sun shone brightly overhead. We dodged a few puddles, looked for signs of aboriginal carvings and found another trail to investigate.

At the point we met Craig and Grant, who had taken their mountain bikes out for a spin. We struck up a great conversation and swapped tips on trails, gear, bikes and hikes. The view over the Grose Valley did not disappoint and Craig took some photos for us.  Carmel returned the favour and took photos of Grant, Craig and their bikes with the gorgeous valley beneath as the backdrop.

The storm clouds eventually rolled in which was the signal to all of us to move on.  The air by this time had cooled, the humidity had dropped and the walk back was very comfortable.  We finished off with dinner and drinks at the Springwood Hotel.  Unfortunately we didn’t win the meat tray but we did have a great afternoon.

Yours in adventure Rosie
