Past adventure.

ADVENTURE REPORT
Twenty three of us (including three newbies) gathered in Narrabeen yesterday morning and walked and talked our way around the 12.5km perimeter of the Lagoon. It was another hot and humid day and the occasional sea breezes and dappled shade were most welcome. The track was flat and easy going.
It started like this …

and went from this …

to this …

with sections like this …

and a bit like this.

The scenery was beautiful, tranquil and enjoyed by all. Afterwards, some of us debriefed, restocked and rehydrated at the local establishment.
Great walk, great company !!!
Well done Bernadette, Carmel, Cathy, Di, Eileen, Haidee, Janice, JennyA, Johann, Jon, Les, Marian, Marina, MaryT, Megan, Richard, Rob, Sarah, Sharon, Steph, Susan, and Tony

DETAILS
A flat 12.5km circular walk along dirt, gravel and concrete paths around Narrabeen Lagoon and a short stretch along Narrabeen beach. Approx. 3-4 hours. If it’s hot, we can have a dip.
Afterwards if you’re interested we can share a lunch or drink at a local establishment.
Meet at The Mind Cafe. Click the Meetup Button below for directions. Parking is available here in front of Woolworths and the Post Office. Access to this carpark is not obvious and is via the lagoon end of Wellington St. This is a loop walk so car pooling is recommended.
Short course option: If you’d prefer a shorter 8.5km route, hang back and have a coffee, and join us here when we pass the northern side of the Narrabeen Lagoon bridge about 45-60mins after starting.
Bring snacks & drink to have along the way.
