ADVENTURE REPORT
Carlene, Françoise, Ann and Terry bravely stepped out into the Jamison Valley from Katoomba. We had cold temperatures, some light showers and heavy mountain mist. Some gorillas would have been a perfect addition to the misty green forest however that is for another adventure. The amphitheater was beautiful, the stair case seemed never ending however it did and we found ourselves amongst waterfalls. We were joined by Lyrebirds who were in full surround sound. We finished off with refreshments and celebrated International Burger Day at Bar NSW. Thank you! See you next time.

ADVENTURE DETAILS
Step back in time with fairies and elves hiding in amongst the lush green forest. An easy to medium loop walk with stairs, taking about 4 hours. Walk down the Giant Stairs at Echo Point Lookout, follow the trail into Leura Forest, up Fern Bower stairs (just a little bit) then up the stairs into the Amphitheatre, pass by Leura Cascades and walk to Echo Point. It’s not about the distance it’s about the views, the stairs and the sheer beauty of it.

See you at the meetup point; near the Visitors Centre at Echo Point. Park a few streets back to avoid parking fines. Bring a picnic lunch which we’ll eat somewhere along the way. The weather is getting cool so bring some warm layers.
