CAR SHUTTLE
To keep costs down, we request the support of participants in the daily transport of walkers to and from the track each day.
If your car’s in good condition, you’re comfortable driving to Jindabyne and its surroundings areas, and you’re willing to walk the trail and help shuttle walkers, please reach out to us.
The success and smooth running of this adventure depends on this shuttle. Basic details are …
- Four 5-seater cars are required on five days, 5 cars on one day, and 8 cars on one day.
- Drivers will be reimbursed at the end of the adventure a fixed daily amount of $35 for each day they are specifically asked to assist in the car shuttle. This will cover the daily national park entry fee of $17.00, and be a contribution of $18.00 towards petrol costs. Each day’s shuttle requirements are different. The reimbursement isn’t perfect but is intended to offset & assist with costs.
- Drivers involved are totally responsible for all their car expenses including petrol, insurance, maintenance, accidents, and recovery.
- Drivers involved will be responsible for purchasing a daily park pass for each day they are involved. Refer here for more information.
- If you are happy to be involved, please approach us first to discuss and confirm our requirements. Only agreed arrangements will be reimbursed.
