ADVENTURE REPORT
Last Sunday, 17 of our tribe enjoyed a gorgeous winter’s day walking through the bush, mainly along the Two Creeks Track, from Lindfield to Castle Cove in Sydney’s inner northeast. We travelled a popular, yet relatively quiet, remote, and very scenic trail that meandered alongside Gordon Creek, the upper reaches of Middle Harbour, Moores Creek, and then Middle Harbour again.

The trail truly had a bit of everything:

It was a lovely day, shared with the great company, enthusiasm, and caring natures of: Sue, Chantal, Alex, Maria, Marian, BruceR, Narelle, Di, BruceS, Bernadette, Mary-Lou, Stephen, Joanne, Richard, Sandra, and Carmel.

Until next time…
Yours in adventure Nick

ADVENTURE DETAILS
A pretty 8.5km secluded and quiet bush walk over easy to medium terrain from Lindfield to Castle Cove. It’ll take about 3 hours. We follow the two Creeks Track along Gordons Creek to Middle Harbour then meander along the harbour shoreline, under the Roseville Bridge past Echo Point, then to Castle Cove. The route is mainly bush tracks, with ups and downs and great scenery. A treat towards the end is the Echo on the Marina cafe where we can share a drink and light lunch if we’re feeling peckish.

This is a one way walk so a car shuffle will be required before and after. We’ll meet at the end and car pool to the start. Tap the Meetup button below for directions.

Short course options: As we’re in the bush most of the time there aren’t really any options. You could checkout at the cafe towards the end and save 1.5km.
