Past adventure.

ADVENTURE REPORT
Thirteen of our tribe met in North Balgowlah for some physical & verbal exercise and a meander around Manly Dam in Sydney’s north east.

The 10km odd track and large bush reserve surrounding the dam was very pretty and varied: dirt tracks, fire trails, broadwalks, steep stairs, low sections, beautiful high level water vistas through the trees, water edge views, pockets of floating flowers & reeds, and grassed picnic areas. The waterway, a previous water reserve for the local community & now a popular recreational facility, was very large, peaceful and inviting.

We began with glorious weather of warm clear blue skies but high humidity.Towards the end it clouded over and we had a patch of light drizzle as we crossed the dam wall.

To wrap up we enjoyed a picnic lunch in a sheltered pavilion, and afterwards ascended the hill back to our original meeting point.

It was a lovely morning shared with the great company of Bernadette, Carmel, Di, Farhad, Jacquie, Johann, Les, Marian, Mary-Lou, Narelle, Susan, & Tony.

Until next time …
Yours in adventure Nick
