ADVENTURE REPORT
Today Johann, Tony, Marian, Carmel, Mary-Lou and Rosie ventured out to Ruined Castle in the Blue Mountains and we were rewarded with spectacular views. Our adventure began the night before at Charlie’s in the Carrington and Carlene also joined us. We enjoyed dinner at the Old City Bank but didn’t stay out too late. Then today we walked onto Narrow Neck, down the Golden Stairs.. a lot of stairs.. into the valley of lush ferns, towering coachwood, turpentine and sassafras trees. We followed the winding and undulating trail which led us steeply upward to an impressive rock formation known as Ruined Castle. After a relaxing lunch in the sunshine we made our way back, making time for breath catching breaks, photos and as always great conversation. We also found a delicious new cafe in Katoomba and swapped more interesting stories before heading home. 🙏🌳🥾🥾☕️😊

Yours in adventure Rosie
